COMMON CHARACTERISTICS • Pleat height obtained: minimum 12mm, maximum 60mm. • Maximum width obtained: approx. 95/300mm • Maximum pleating speed: 500 pleats per minute depending on the type of paper, height of pleat and width of the roll of paper used With this machine it’s possibile to produce cabin filters, usually called “pollen fiters”. It is the result of the union of 2 machines: a pleating machines, VARIO or ROTOR type, and a automatic assembling machine of the lateral edges. With it, it is possibile to produce filters in synthetic material or paper, and, with some limitations, it is also possibile to use material containing active carbon. The machine, automatically bends the paper (or synthetic material), outdistances the pleats, glues the lateral strips and cuts the filter. In the standard version, the machine automatically inserts two trimmings on the open side of the pleats; as an option it’s possible to add the sytem to glue the trimmings on the heading. In the cutting of the finished filter, the precision reached is high, we obtain exactly the number of pleats wanted; this is due to the new system of counting and cutting.
