This variant of the ROTOR pleating machine, uses a star rolls system to collect the pleats, thus substituting the standard system.

COMMON CHARACTERISTICS • Pleat height obtained: minimum 15mm, maximum 60mm • Maximum width obtained: approx. 300/700mm • Maximum pleating speed: 1500 pleats per minute depending on the type of paper, height of pleat and width of the roll of paper used This variant of the ROTOR pleating machine, uses a star rolls system to collect the pleats, thus substituting the standard system. This machine is in competition with the POKET model for what concerns the panel air filters production. Compared to it, because of its characteristics, it is more suitable to the trapezoidal filter production and to the production of more filters simultaneously (through a pre-cut of the main strip which is being under work). These machines can work with or without glue. When the machine is to be used without glue, it has a supplementary, special post-heating plate which permits a good quality sealing of the pleats which with only the infrared lamps would be insufficient. The maximum tolerated width of the roll of paper is 700mm. Smaller versions with the maximum paper passage of 600, 500 and 415mm are available.

The advantage of this system is the possibility to not use glue to hold the pleats, the possibility of using "difficult" paper, the possibility of pre-cutting length ways in this way producing more than one filter element at a time, the possibility of placing just one central cord of glue to improve manoeuvrability and firmness of the pleat pitch.

Trapezoidal profile With our machine it is possible to produce filters with trapezoidal or rectangular profile, with bevel on one or more angles. A special system, ruled by a software, manages works in a easy and fast way.
